Autumn Hays has graduated UCSD with an honors B.A. in Visual Arts - Studio. For the next year she will be building her portfolio and applying to grad school for a M.F.A.

An installation artwork by Autumn Hays will be up today from 10am-8pm. The piece titled "Ghosts in the Bathroom" is located in the second floor bathroom at UCSD's Visual Arts Facilities. Please see events listings for more information. 1 June 2010

24 September 2009 Autumn was accepted into the UCSD Studio Honors program. This program allows outstanding students, selected by the Visual Arts faculty, who meet the requirements of honors to enter into the honors program. There they work for the next year in a shared studio space, are challenged to work at an advanced level preparing one for grad school and if a student passes the program they will receive departmental honors.
"An advanced studio course intended for the productive, motivated, and self-disciplined student with a clear and unified body of work. The intent is to help refine and expand the student's work and ideas towards an exhibition and verbal written position." -UCSD catalog 2009-10

Autumn graduated San Diego Mesa College with an A.A. in transfer
studies. She received high honors and Phi Theta Kappa and honors student
honors. She was also part of the presidents speech where she received
additional special recognition.
